Rock climbing when you’re blind

Matthew Shifrin is a blind rock climber from Boston who took up the game nearly a 12 months in the past due to his pal Max Hernandez.

Max acts as Matthew’s caller – giving instructions and guiding him to the place holds are on the climbing route.

As Matthew grew to become extra superior at it, he wished a approach to plan and strategise his climbs.

So he devised a system of mapping out his routes utilizing his beloved childhood toy – Lego.
