Noor Salman, 35, was imprisoned after being accused of trying to cover for Mateen.

His 2016 rampage at the gay nightclub in Orlando, Fla., left 49 dead and 53 injured.

Mateen was killed by police at the scene.

Salman maintains she didn’t know anything about Mateen’s plans, but should have “seen the red flags,” the Daily Mail reported citing a Vice News interview .

Salman says she was regularly beaten and raped by Mateen after meeting him on a website and having a child with him.

Salman, who was released from jail in 2018, gave her first interview to Vice and said she tells people her son was born after a one-night stand with a stranger.

“It’s easier than to say … (his father) killed people and (I) became a single mom,” she said.

Salman has also changed her last name, but says her son knows all about his father.
