Basingstoke charity receives skip-loads of useless donations

Hospice charity store employees in Basingstoke are asking individuals to assume extra fastidiously about their donations.

St Michael’s Hospice has been spending £2,000 each month on a skip to dispose of poor high quality donations left outdoors its charity outlets.

Volunteers have obtained objects resembling an previous washer, damaged furnishings and soiled cooking pots.
